Style - Wado Ryu

Wado Ryu karate was founded by Sensei Hironori Ohtsuka. The style uses smaller movements than those generally seen in other styles where stances are shorter and higher. Characteristic moves of Wado Ryu are fast, evasive and deflective techniques utilising your opponents force against themselves Broken down to it's simplest translation Wado Ryu can be understood as 'The Way of Peace and Harmony'.
