One of the first clubs we trained at was Sensei Seito’s Shotokan club, Sensei Seito is a 7th Dan a quiet man with a strong presence about him, his basics are very strong and we did a lot of them which did make me ache a bit but was very enjoyable. It was nice to do some good old basic Karate training and it blew away a few cob webs from the long plane journey, we then went through Nijushiho which was interesting for me as we have a Wado version of this Kata called Niseshi and although they were very similar they were also very different when you actually went through them. After the lesson we had a bit of time to chat to the Japanese students and done the usual photo shoot then we went back to our hotel had a hot bath then went out for a bit of the night life. |
